I live and work out of the staff quarters here in Metro Vihar, specifically in Quarter Number C-403. Being part of the DMRC means our lives are pretty much tied to the metro system. This place in Najafgarh is where a lot of us stay, so you are always seeing familiar faces from the different stations and lines. It is a bit of a community here. We do not have a big fancy office building with a lobby. Instead, we have our quarters and the small admin spaces where we handle the daily logistics. My day usually starts quite early, depending on the shift schedule. We deal with everything from maintenance reports to managing the staff rotations that keep the trains moving across the city. It is a lot of routine work, but it is important for the city. The quarters are simple and practical, which suits us just fine. Sometimes we sit outside in the evenings and talk about the day's delays or any issues with the tracks. It is just a normal life for us. We are not looking for any praise; we are just the people behind the scenes making sure the doors open and the trains run on time every single morning. Najafgarh is a bit far for some people, but for us, it is just where home and work come together.
