Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited

This office is tucked away in A201, Metro Vihar, specifically in the officer flats area in Najafgarh. It’s part of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited, but this specific spot feels more like a residential workplace than a big station hub. Since it’s in the flats, it’s a bit more relaxed than the main headquarters downtown. We deal with various administrative things here. Sometimes it feels like we’re just surrounded by files and maps of the city's rail lines. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the Najafgarh side of New Delhi, but we’ve settled in quite well. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the printer makes a weird clicking sound every time we use it. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks, though. As long as the work gets done and the records are kept straight, we're okay. We mostly see the same few faces every day. It's quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think, which is a nice change from the loud platforms. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the paperwork that comes in from the different departments. It's just a regular government-style setup where we do our part for the metro system. It isn't very glamorous, but it is necessary work for keeping the city moving. We just stay busy with the records.
