Delhi Jal Board

This is our local office over in Kardam Puri Extension, specifically at A-71 on Street Number 2. It's tucked away in the Shd area of Delhi 110094. Being part of the Jal Board means we deal with water issues every single day. It isn't the most glamorous job, to be honest. We get a lot of people coming in with complaints or questions about their bills. The office is pretty basic—just some plastic chairs for visitors and big ledgers on the desks. Sometimes the pipes in the area break and we have to coordinate the repairs, which usually takes longer than anyone wants. The street outside is narrow, so it gets crowded quickly. We’ve all been working here for quite some time. We know the neighborhood and the people living around Street 2. It’s a lot of paperwork and sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in it. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that creak while they spin. We try to help out as much as we can when there’s a water shortage. It’s a tough gig because everyone needs water and they get upset when things go wrong. We just do our best to keep things flowing. It’s just a regular government-style spot where we try to manage the local water situation without too much fuss.
