We are based in Vasant Kunj at 408, Sector-A/C. This is the spot where we handle things for Delhi International Airports Limited, part of the GMR Group. Vasant Kunj is a busy part of New Delhi, but our office itself is tucked away. It’s a practical space. We don’t have any of those big flashy signs you might expect from an airport company. Inside, it’s mostly just us at our desks with piles of paper and blinking computer screens. We spend our time looking at logistics and managing the various things that an airport needs. It can get a bit stressful when things are busy at the terminal, but here in the office, we try to keep a level head. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel, with tea stains on the coasters and some old posters on the walls. We’ve got a small window that looks out onto the street, so we can see the traffic and the weather changing. It’s just a group of us who have been doing this for a while. We know how the systems work and we just get on with it. There’s no big corporate mission statement on the wall. We just focus on making sure the airport runs like it should. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. That is all there is to it.
