Our office is tucked away at E217 in Tagore Garden, New Delhi. It is a busy neighborhood where kids play in the lanes and people are always heading to the market. We spend our days here handling the various tasks for Delhi International Airport Limited. It is not a shiny glass building like you might expect. Instead, it is a practical space where we sit with our files and computers. The street outside is usually crowded with scooters and delivery bikes. Sometimes the internet goes slow or the power cuts out for a minute, but we just keep going. We have some old desks and chairs that have been around for a long time. There is a tea stall nearby that brings us chai in small glasses twice a day. Working in Tagore Garden feels very local and real. We don't have fancy lobbies or big signs. Most of the people working here live nearby and know the shortcuts through the alleys. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking spreadsheets. It can get loud when the neighbors are celebrating something, but that is just part of being in this part of Delhi. We just focus on the logistics and the paperwork that keeps the airport operations moving from this side of town. It is a lot of routine stuff, but someone has to stay on top of it every day.
