Deffence

You can find us at 508 Katra Asrafi, right in the heart of Old Delhi-6. If you’ve ever walked through these lanes, you know how crowded and narrow they get. Our business, Deffence, has been tucked away in this spot for a while now. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with the Katra, but we like it here. The building is old, with high ceilings and those thick walls that keep the heat out a little bit in the summer. We don't have a shiny sign or big glass windows. Mostly, it’s just us surrounded by the stock we carry and the ledgers we use to track everything. The air is always filled with the sounds of the market—rickshaws, people shouting, and the general hum of trade. We start early when the cool air is still around and stay until the shutters come down in the evening. There’s no corporate hierarchy here. We just have a few people who have worked together for years and know how to get things done. We don’t bother with fancy slogans. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the people who come to us leave with what they needed. It’s a busy life in Old Delhi, and we are just one small part of it, keeping the tradition of the market going as best as we can without much fuss.
