Decent Communication

If you go to Kalyan Singh Chowk in Faridabad N I T, you’ll find us at number 14. Decent Communication is right there in the middle of all the noise and traffic. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with mobile accessories, chargers, and stacks of SIM cards. We spend most of the day talking to people who have cracked screens or phones that won't hold a charge. The chowk is always loud with horns and people shouting, so we have to speak up sometimes. We have a glass counter that’s seen better days, but it holds all the latest gadgets we’ve got in stock. People come in for a quick recharge or just to ask how a certain feature on their new phone works. We don't have a fancy uniform or anything. We just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of standing and moving. It gets pretty busy around evening time when everyone is heading home from work. Sometimes we have three or four people waiting at once, so we have to move fast. We’ve been in this part of Faridabad for a while, so we know most of the regular faces. We don't do big advertisements; people just know we’re the spot near the chowk to get their tech sorted out. It’s a simple life, fixing things and helping folks stay connected. We just keep the doors open and see who walks in next. It is what it is, and we like the neighborhood energy.
