Deccan Express Logistics

Down in Mahavir Enclave, specifically on Street No.1, you will find us at Rzf-1/48. This is Palam, so it is always a bit dusty and busy with people moving around all day long. We are Deccan Express Logistics. Our spot is basically a warehouse and an office mixed into one big room. There are always cardboard boxes stacked up near the door waiting to be loaded. We spend most of the morning sorting through deliveries and making sure the scooters and trucks are ready to go out. The neighborhood is crowded, so parking is always a bit of a headache for the drivers when they come back. It is a noisy place with the sound of tape dispensers and people shouting instructions across the floor. We don't have fancy uniforms or a lobby with a fountain or anything. It is just a practical place to move goods from one point to another. New Delhi 110045 is a big area to cover, but we know these streets pretty well by now. The fan in the main office makes a clicking sound that we have all just learned to ignore because nobody has time to fix it. We drink a lot of water because it gets hot in the back room where the heavy stuff is kept. It is hard work, but it is what we do for a living. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the packages where they need to go. It is a simple job.
