Deccan Aviations

We are over at C-267 in Vikaspuri. If you know Delhi, you know Vikaspuri is one of those places that feels like a city within a city. Our office for Deccan Aviations is tucked away here. It’s not a massive hanger or anything like that; it’s just a regular building where we handle the administrative side of things. We have a few rooms filled with cabinets, some old computers, and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. Most of the time, the work involves a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. It’s the kind of place where the furniture doesn't match and there’s always a half-empty box of biscuits on the table. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighborhood is pretty familiar to us. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open, but mostly it’s just the sound of the office. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a person in a suit greeting you at the door. Usually, you just walk in and someone will look up from their desk to see what you need. It’s a very local way of doing things, even if the business is about flying. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the paperwork is in order for whatever flight operations are happening that day. It keeps us pretty busy most of the week.
