Deccan Aviation has its spot over at Rzg 585 in Palam Colony, right here in New Delhi. Being near the airport area makes sense for what we do. It’s not a fancy neighborhood, just a busy one where everyone is always moving. We deal with a lot of the technical and logistical sides of flying. It’s not all about big planes and pilots; there’s a lot of ground work that goes into it. The office is usually full of people checking schedules and looking at maintenance logs. We aren't big on flashy advertisements or anything. Most of the people who come to us already know what they need. Palam Colony is a bit of a maze sometimes, but once you find Rzg 585, you’ll find us just doing our daily thing. It can be stressful when schedules change or there’s a delay, but that’s just the nature of aviation. We’ve got a small group of people who have been around engines and flight paths for years. We don't really talk about the magic of flying or anything like that. It’s mostly about making sure the paperwork is right and the logistics are sorted. It’s a practical, everyday kind of job. We drink way too much coffee and spend a lot of time on the phone. That’s just how it goes when you’re working near the runways in Delhi. It is just regular work for us.
