Deccan Aviation

Our base here is at 25 Devnagar Byepass in the Khandari area of Agra. Most people think of other things when they hear Agra, but for us, it’s all about Deccan Aviation. We work from this spot to manage our various tasks. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but being near the bypass makes it easier for logistics. Our office is fairly simple. We spend a lot of time on the computer and coordinating with different teams. Aviation is a tricky business with a lot of rules, so we have to be careful about the details. It isn't always exciting; there is a lot of waiting for news or waiting for a flight to be cleared. We have a few desks, some old maps on the wall, and plenty of files. The dust from the road sometimes gets in, so we are always wiping down the tables in the morning. We are just a local team trying to keep things moving. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We just show up, do the paperwork, and make sure the communication lines stay open. Some days are slow and we just sit around chatting, and other days it feels like everything is happening at once. It’s just how this kind of work goes. We are just glad to be operating here in Khandari and getting the job done one day at a time.
