Deccan Aviation Ltd operates from Flat 301 in the Sri Venkateshwara Homes building. We are located on Kempamma Devi Main Road in New Tippasandra. It’s a decent part of Bangalore, though the traffic on the main road can be a bit of a headache during the morning and evening rush. Our office isn't in some big glass skyscraper downtown. It’s a regular apartment where we’ve set up our desks, computers, and phones. We handle a lot of the aviation paperwork, flight logs, and scheduling from this space. It’s a quiet enough place once you get inside and close the door. We have some metal shelves filled with old logs and technical manuals that we need to keep on hand. Most of our days are spent typing on the computer or talking to people over at the airfield. We don't have a receptionist sitting in a suit at the front. Usually, one of us just gets up to answer the door when someone knocks. There’s a small kitchen area where we make our coffee, and that’s where most of our daily meetings happen. It’s a practical way to work without having to pay for all the extra costs of a big office building. We’ve been in New Tippasandra for a while now and we like being close to the local markets and shops. It’s just a normal workplace for us and we just focus on the task at hand.
