Deccan Avaition

We are based over at A-55 in South Extension-2, right here in New Delhi. It is a busy area, so getting to work in the morning can be a real headache with the traffic on the Ring Road. Our office for Deccan Aviation isn't huge, but it's where everything happens for us. We handle a lot of the background work for flights and travel. There are always maps and schedules pinned to the walls. Some days it is really quiet, and other days everyone is talking at once. We have a few old chairs that probably need replacing, but they are comfortable enough. The light in the office is a bit dim in the afternoons. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. Most of us have been working in aviation for a long time, so we don't get excited about much anymore. We just do the tasks and check the boxes. It’s a small team, and we all know each other’s families by now. We don't have a receptionist, so if you walk in, someone will just look up from their desk and ask what you need. It is a very down-to-earth kind of place. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we'd rather just have the tools we need to work. It’s just how things are at this South Ext spot. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the paperwork every single day.
