Days Of The Raj

Days Of The Raj is based at 399 Vikas Kunj in the Vikas Puri neighborhood of New Delhi. It’s a residential area, so our presence here is a bit more personal than if we were in a big office tower. We’ve been here for a long time, and the locals in the 110018 area know us pretty well. Our work is all about food and hospitality, so there’s always something cooking or a menu being planned. The office part of our building is where we keep the books and handle the staff schedules. It’s a bit of a small space, and it often smells like spices from the kitchen downstairs. We don't spend money on big ad campaigns or polished websites. Most of our customers are just people from around the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. We just try to make sure the quality of the food stays the same and that people feel comfortable when they visit. It’s a lot of long hours, especially on weekends and holidays when everyone else is out celebrating. But we’ve gotten used to that rhythm. The staff here is like a small family, and we’ve been through a lot together. We don't have a fancy mission statement; we just want to serve good food and keep the business going. Vikas Puri is a nice place to be, and we’re happy to be a part of the community here for now.
