D Pauls Travel And Tours (Iata), Malviya Nagar, New Delhi

We have been running D Pauls Travel And Tours for quite a long time now. Most people around Malviya Nagar know us, but our actual main spot is over at A2/A 222 in Janakpuri, near where Krishan Ji is. It is just a normal office where we handle all the IATA flight bookings and help folks get their holiday plans sorted out. It gets pretty busy in here, especially when everyone decides they want to go on vacation at the same time. We spend most of our day sitting at the desks, staring at flight schedules and trying to find the right routes for anyone who walks through the door. It is not a fancy setup or anything, just some computers and stacks of papers everywhere. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing and it can get a bit loud. We try to keep things as simple as possible for our customers. If you need a visa or just a cheap ticket to go see your family, that is what we do. We have seen the travel business change a lot over the years with everything going online, but we are still here. Some days are slower than others and we just sit and drink tea. We like being part of the New Delhi community and seeing people come back after their trips. It is a lot of work to coordinate with airlines, but it is just our daily job.
