D K Mobile

Down in Tigri, you’ll find D K Mobile. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where we handle everything to do with phones. We’ve got shelves lined with different accessories and we try to keep a bit of everything in stock. It gets pretty loud around here with the traffic and people walking by, but we don't mind it much. Most of the time, we are busy with repairs. People bring in phones with cracked screens or ones that won’t turn on, and we see what we can do. It’s satisfying when you finally get a device working again after it’s been dead for a few days. We don’t have a fancy office or a big team of people. It’s just us in the shop, dealing with customers as they come in. Some days are slower than others, so we spend that time organizing the drawers or checking what we need to order. Tigri is a busy area and we feel like a part of the local scene here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the shop stays mostly the same. We have a small stool for people to sit on while they wait, but most people just stand and chat while we work on their stuff. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living, and we’re happy to be here.
