Customer Interface Officer

This office is located at Rg/B in the Janta Flats area of Vishnu Garden. Specifically, it is House No-366, right near the old cement godown. It is a bit of a landmark for people trying to find us since the flats all look pretty similar around here. I work as the customer interface officer, which sounds a bit more formal than it actually is. Mostly, I just sit here and talk to people who have questions or problems that need solving. The office is quite small, just enough room for a desk and a couple of chairs for visitors. It gets a bit dusty because of the godown nearby, but we keep it as tidy as possible. People from the neighborhood stop in quite often, sometimes just to ask for directions or to talk about a service issue they are having. I try to listen and get things sorted out as fast as I can, though sometimes the systems are slow and we both have to wait. It’s a very local kind of job where you get to know the faces of the people living in Vishnu Garden. There isn't any big corporate pressure here, just the daily task of helping whoever walks through the door. I usually have the radio playing quietly in the background to fill the silence when it’s not busy. It’s a simple setup, and it works fine for what we do every day.
