We’ve set up our office in Flat Number 27 at the AIIMS Apartments in Mayur Kunj. It’s right near the U.P. Link Road in Delhi. Using an apartment as an office gives the whole thing a much more relaxed feel than those big business parks. We do travel bookings here, mostly flights and vacation packages. Since we are in a residential-style building, it’s a bit quieter than the main road, though you can still hear the traffic from the Link Road if the window is open. I’ve been working from this desk for quite a while now. The room is full of travel brochures and old calendars. We aren't a big flashy agency with a storefront. Most people find us through word of mouth or online. It’s just a few of us sitting around computers, talking to customers and trying to find the best dates for their trips. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh when a weird request comes in. The kitchen in the flat is where we spend a lot of time making tea and catching up. It’s a very simple operation. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just show up and get to work on the bookings. It feels more like a small family business because of the setting. It’s a good spot to work from and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the apartment complex. We just keep our heads down and book those flights.
