Crowne Plaza Today Gurgaon

Being over here at K-404 in Mahipalpur Ext., we’re in a bit of a weird spot. Even though the name says Crowne Plaza Today Gurgaon, this New Delhi -37 location is where we handle a lot of the groundwork. Mahipalpur is always moving because the airport is right there. You can hear the planes all the time, and the traffic on the main road never really stops. Our office is more about the practical side of the hotel business. It’s where the staff might congregate or where we keep track of things that don't happen right at the front desk. It’s a bit of a maze back here, to be honest. We’ve got old furniture and computers that have seen better days, but they still work fine for what we need. It’s not a fancy lobby with marble floors. It’s just rooms with people working. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at schedules. Sometimes the water cooler breaks or we run out of pens, just like any other place. It feels very local here, despite the big brand name on the sign. We’ve got our routine down, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to be doing. It can get dusty with all the construction nearby, but we just keep the doors shut and keep at it. It’s just our little hub for keeping the bigger gears turning behind the scenes while the rest of the world goes by.
