Cris (Railway)

This office is located in Yamuna Vihar at B-5/153. It’s a part of the railway information system, but here on the ground, it just looks like a regular government-style building. We spend our days dealing with a lot of data related to the trains and the tracks. It’s a lot of technical stuff, but we explain it to each other in plain English. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a functional place where we have our desks and our files. Yamuna Vihar is a busy residential spot, so there are always people around. We have a routine that we follow every day. It starts with tea and then we dive into whatever the latest updates are for the system. We aren't here to sell anything or make big claims. We just provide the backend support that keeps things moving on the rails. Sometimes it gets a bit tedious with all the numbers and codes, but it’s important work. The office has that old-school feel where there are heaps of paper and everyone has their own way of doing things. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department writing this for us. It’s just us, working in this corner of Delhi, making sure the information is correct and the systems are running as they should be. It’s a quiet kind of job, mostly, but we like the pace of it and the neighborhood.
