Crazy Communication

If you are walking through the Subhash Nagar Main Market, you’ll see us at 15/16. The name is Crazy Communication, but the day-to-day work is actually pretty calm. The main market stays full of people, especially on the weekends, so there is always a lot of energy right outside the door. We handle everything related to mobiles. Inside, the shelves are packed with boxes of new phones and different kinds of accessories. It gets a bit messy during the day when we are opening packages or testing out chargers for people. There is a small bench in the back where the repair work happens. It takes a lot of patience to fix these modern phones because everything is so small inside. We often have people waiting around for their screens to be replaced, so we try to move as fast as possible without making any mistakes. The street outside stays noisy with shoppers and vendors, which we’ve just gotten used to over time. This isn't a high-end boutique or anything like that. It’s a practical shop for people who just need their phones to work again. We open up the shutters around mid-morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. It’s a lot of hours, but being in the middle of Subhash Nagar keeps things interesting. Usually, the day ends by cleaning up all the bits of wire and plastic from the floor.
