Cox & Kings

The office is right in H-Block at Indira Palace. This part of New Delhi-110001 is always full of energy and noise. Since we are part of Cox & Kings India Ltd, there is usually a lot of travel paperwork to go through or old records to check. The building itself is quite old, which gives it a bit of character. You can hear the constant sound of traffic from the main circle outside all day long. We have a couple of desks pushed together and chairs that have been around for years. It is not a polished showroom, just a place for us to work. We mostly keep our heads down and try to get through the pile of tasks on our desks. Indira Palace is a big landmark, but finding H-Block can still take a minute if you are not used to the layout. We usually get our lunch from one of the small food stalls around the corner. The tea guy comes by a few times a day, which everyone seems to look forward to. The paperwork tends to pile up fast, so we spend a lot of time just organizing folders and checking dates. It gets a little dusty because of all the traffic and construction nearby, but we do not mind much. We have been at this address for a long time. Most of us have a long commute, so we talk about the metro a lot. It is just a plain office for a plain day of work.
