We are located at 1768A/7 in the Govindpuri Extension, right near Kalkaji in New Delhi. The postcode is 110019 if you’re looking for us on a map. This is a very crowded part of Delhi, and the streets are always full of people and rickshaws. Our office here is part of the Cox And Kings (India) Limited setup, but we keep things pretty grounded on this level. It’s not a shiny glass building like you see in the center of the city. We have a front door that opens right onto the street, and we can hear everything going on outside all day long. Inside, it’s just a bunch of desks and some old metal cupboards where we store our records. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because that isn’t what we are here for. We just sit down in the morning, have our chai, and start going through the bookings and the paperwork. It gets quite loud during the middle of the day, but we’ve learned to work through it. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we just have to be patient. We know the other shopkeepers in Govindpuri fairly well by now. It’s a busy, gritty part of town, but it feels alive. We don't have a script for how we talk to people; we just try to be helpful and get the job done without too much fuss.
