Country Club

This branch of the Country Club is run by Ravi Sharma and Seema Sharma over at S-5, Pandav Nagar Ext. in New Delhi-92. It’s not like those giant clubs you see in movies. It’s a more personal setup where we handle the memberships and talk to people about their holidays. We’ve been in Pandav Nagar for a while, and the office is pretty simple. There’s a desk for Ravi, one for Seema, and a few chairs for whoever drops by. We spend a lot of time on the computer or filling out forms for members. It gets busy during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. We just try to keep things organized and answer the phone when it rings. There’s no big corporate vibe here, it’s just us. Sometimes the neighborhood gets a bit crowded and the noise from the street comes right into the office, but we’re used to it. We don't have any fancy brochures that promise the world. We just tell people what’s available and help them book their time off. It’s a steady job and we like meeting the different people who come in to ask about their plans. The address is easy to find if you’re familiar with the Pandav Nagar extension area. We don't really have a big staff, so when you call, you usually get one of us. It’s a quiet life most of the time.
