You can find us at Suchitra Stuti, 2386/1, on Mandir Lane. We’re right near the Gurudwara in Shadipur, so it’s usually quite easy to locate us once you get to the area. Being near a Gurudwara means there’s often a lot of people around and a sense of community, which is nice. Our office for Country Club India Ltd is just a regular building in this busy part of New Delhi. It’s not a sprawling resort or anything like that; it’s just where we do the sales and membership work. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with desks and chairs, and there’s usually a lot of chatter as people talk to potential members on the phone. The walls are covered with some posters of various clubs, but they’re starting to peel at the corners. We’ve been here in Shadipur for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the noise of Mandir Lane. It’s a bit of a chaotic spot, but it has character. We don’t use any fancy scripts when we talk to people; we just tell them what the memberships are about and see if they’re interested. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we have a good group of people here who make it manageable. We just keep things moving, one phone call at a time, in this little corner of the city near the temple. It’s noisy and sometimes the power goes out, but we stay busy.
