If you find yourself in Taimoor Nagar, you might have seen the Prakash Hotel. We’re located right inside there at 109. It’s an interesting spot because New Delhi-65 is quite a mix of old and new buildings. The place has been around for a long time, and you can tell by the way the hallways and the walls look. We share the building space with the hotel staff and guests who are constantly coming and going. It gets quite lively during the wedding season or when there’s a local festival happening in the streets outside. Our office isn't very large, so things can get a bit cramped when we have the full crew in for the day. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people about their memberships or holiday plans. There’s always someone coming in to ask for directions or looking for the hotel reception, and we just point them the right way. The lighting in our section is a bit dim, but we’ve got our own desk lamps and a few plants to cheer the place up. It feels a bit like a family business even though we are part of a larger company. We don't really do fancy presentations or anything like that. Usually, we just sit across a desk and explain how things work. Lunchtime is often spent in the hotel’s small dining area or getting something quick from the street vendors outside. It’s just a practical, local place to work.
