Costa Coffee

This Costa Coffee setup is handled through Amit Kumar Mishra and Samay Singh over in Chakkarpur. That is a village area and post office in Gurgaon. It is not your typical high-street shop vibe that you might expect from a big name. It is more of a local operation running out of a specific spot within the village itself. The roads around here are a bit rough, especially after it rains, and you have to watch out for the bikes and cows. The office space we use is pretty basic and functional. We have a few desks and a place to keep all our logs and equipment. It stays quite dusty because of all the new construction happening nearby in Gurgaon. You can hear the drills and the heavy trucks going by all day long. We keep a stash of instant coffee in the cupboard because we do not always have the big professional machines running in this particular office. The walls are painted a simple off-white color and are mostly bare. We spend a lot of time on our phones or typing away on our laptops. It is a bit of a walk from the main transport links, so we usually just bring our own lunch from home. The neighborhood is very traditional, with small shops selling everything from milk to hardware tools. We have a small desk fan that we move around depending on where we are sitting. (252 words)
