Corporate Residency

We run this place out of J&K Pocket in Dilshad Garden. It’s House number 358-D. It is basically a spot for people who need a place to stay for a few days while they are in Delhi for work or family stuff. We’ve got the rooms set up simply, nothing too over the top, just what you need to sleep and get ready for the day. My wife helps with the cleaning and making sure the linens are fresh. It’s a quiet enough street for being in Delhi, which our guests seem to appreciate when they come back at night. We’ve lived in this area for years so we know where all the good shops and the metro station are. Sometimes we sit out front in the evening when it’s not too hot and talk to the neighbors. The building has been here for a long time. Managing a residency means there is always a light bulb to change or a guest checking in at an odd hour. We try to keep things running smoothly without making a big fuss about it. It’s a small operation, just us and a couple of helpers who come in during the morning. People find us because it’s a convenient location for this part of the city. We don't have a big lobby or anything, just a front door and the rooms upstairs. The balcony on the top floor is a nice place to see the trees in the pocket area.
