Our office for Cormorant Consultancy is located at Rz D3/122 in Mahavir Enclave. We are in Lane Number 9, which is a bit of a walk if you aren’t familiar with the layout of this area. It’s a typical New Delhi neighborhood, pretty residential and quiet compared to the main roads. We don't have a massive sign or anything that screams for attention. It’s just a regular building where we handle our daily consulting work. Usually, there are three or four of us here, hunched over laptops or talking on the phone with clients who need advice on their business matters. The furniture is a bit mismatched and the tea kettle is almost always on. We don't pretend to be some huge multinational firm. We’re just a small group of people who understand how things work and try to help others figure out their own paths. Sometimes the internet acts up or the electricity goes for a bit, but that’s just life in the enclave. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and reading through regulations. It’s not the kind of work that makes for exciting stories, but it’s important to the people we help. We’ve been in this lane for a while, and we like the fact that it’s a bit tucked away from the chaos. There is always someone coming or going, but mostly it's just us doing the paperwork.
