Core Bpo

Our office is set up in House No 5 at Pataudi House on Canning Lane. If you know New Delhi, you know this is a pretty central spot, not too far from the main hubs but tucked away enough to get some work done. We call ourselves Core Bpo, but really, we’re just a group of about twelve people sitting at computers. We handle things like data entry and answering emails for other businesses that don't want to do it themselves. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, to be honest. The building itself is an old house that was converted into office spaces. It has high ceilings and those thick walls that stay a bit cooler in the summer. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle in the corner and our desks squeezed in together. Some days it gets pretty loud when everyone is on the phone at once, but we’re used to it. We aren't some giant call center with hundreds of rows of cubicles. It’s a much smaller operation where everyone knows each other’s business. We just focus on getting the spreadsheets filled out and making sure the files are sent on time. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living and working in Delhi. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of workplace.
