Coral Strand Hotel, Mahe, Seychelles

Even though the hotel itself is far away in the Seychelles, our office is right here in Vivek Vihar at C-264. It’s a quiet residential area in East Delhi, which is quite a contrast to a beach resort. Our space is just a regular office setup in a local building. We handle the bookings, the questions, and all the coordination that needs to happen from the Delhi side. It’s a small operation here. We have a couple of computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and a lot of files. The room is usually filled with the sound of someone explaining travel details over the phone. We aren't a big travel agency with posters everywhere. We just have our desks and our daily tasks. Outside, the street is pretty calm, and we usually see the same people walking their dogs or going to the market. We take our tea breaks at a small stall around the corner. It’s funny to think about the tropical beaches while we are sitting here in the middle of Delhi heat, but that’s the job. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to people. We just tell them what they need to know. The office is a bit plain, but it's comfortable enough for us. We’ve been here at C-264 for a while now, and it feels like home. We just do our work, keep things organized, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s practical and it works for us.
