Convergys

Our office is on the second floor of Wz 546 A, right on Street Number 22 in Shiv Nagar, New Delhi. This is where the Convergys team works. Being on the second floor means we get to see a bit of what’s happening on the street below, which is usually quite a lot. Shiv Nagar is a crowded place, and Street 22 always has people moving around. We spend our shifts mostly on the phones or at our computers. It can get pretty loud in the office when everyone is talking at once, so we have to concentrate hard on what we are doing. We aren't a big fancy headquarters, just a local branch where people come to work their shifts and earn a living. We have a small break area where we eat our tiffins and talk about the news. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we get our exercise every day. We don't have any big slogans on the walls. We just focus on answering the calls and helping the people who contact us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living and working in Delhi. We try to keep a positive attitude and just get through the queue of work that piles up. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes. We just try to make sure every call is handled properly.
