Convergys

Our office is over at B3 373 in Sector 6, Rohini. It’s a standard sort of place in a busy part of Delhi. We spend most of our time at our desks with headsets on, dealing with whatever comes through the system at Convergys. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it’s what we do. The building itself is pretty easy to find once you know the sector well. We have a lot of people coming in and out because of the different shifts. Sometimes you’re working when the sun is up, and other times you’re here in the middle of the night. We’ve got a small break area where we eat our lunch and complain about the traffic on the way in. The elevators can be a bit slow during the shift changes, so a lot of us just take the stairs. It’s a big team, but you end up knowing the people sitting right next to you pretty well. We don’t do much fancy stuff here. It’s just rows of computers and people talking. Rohini is a crowded area, so there’s always somewhere to grab a quick snack nearby when we get a break. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while. It’s a practical location for us. We just focus on getting through the queue and making sure the logs are updated correctly before we head home for the day. It is a long day sometimes but we get it done.
