Convergys India Pvt. Ltd is located on the second floor of building 47 in Rajouri Garden. If you know Delhi, you know how busy Rajouri gets. It's always full of people and cars. Our office is right there in the middle of it. We take the stairs up every morning and start the day. It’s not a huge shiny building like you see in some parts of Gurgaon, but it works for us. We have our desks set up and there is always some noise from the street coming through the windows. The staff here are mostly local people who live nearby or take the metro. We usually grab lunch from the shops downstairs because there are so many good food stalls around Rajouri Garden. It’s a practical place to work. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we just ignore it. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, answer the emails, handle the calls, and try to get everything finished before the evening rush hour starts. It’s a lot of work but we have a good rhythm going. Dealing with the Delhi heat is part of the job too. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever the day brings. That is how we operate here in the city. No big corporate talk, just real work.
