Convenience Tours & Travels

The office is located at Manik Chowk in Aligarh. We are specifically at Mr. J.P Varshney’s place, number 13/460. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded with people and rikshaws everywhere. We’ve been running Convenience Tours & Travels from here for a bit. It’s not a large space, just enough for a couple of desks and a bench where people can sit while they wait. The walls are mostly covered with old calendars and some notes pinned up. We spend most of our time on the phone or typing out details for people. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure things are sorted. Some days are slower than others. When it’s quiet, we just sit and watch the street through the open door. It’s loud out there, but we are used to it by now. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big sign. Most people find us because they know the name or they’ve been told where Mr. Varshney’s building is. It’s a straightforward operation. We handle the paperwork and the bookings without making a big fuss about it. We don't have a kitchen, so we usually get tea from the boy who walks around with the kettle. It’s just how things go here in Aligarh. We focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to keep things organized. It is just a regular local business.
