Contry Inn &Suit By Carlson is over here at H.No.-183 in Rishikesh. It is pretty easy to find once you get near the Arijona Factory. We have been in this part of Uttarakhand for a while now. Some days it gets quite busy with people coming through, especially because of the factory being so close by. The house itself is just a regular building, nothing too fancy. We spend most of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and that the keys are where they should be. Sometimes the road gets a bit dusty when the trucks go past to the factory, but that is just how it is around here. We usually start the day early. There is always some laundry to do or a lightbulb that needs changing. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with marble everywhere. It is more of a practical place where you can just stay and then go about your business in Rishikesh. People often ask us for directions to the main town area. We tell them it’s not too far if the traffic is okay. Most of the staff live nearby, so we just walk to work. We have a few chairs out front where we sit when it is quiet in the afternoon. It is a simple life here. We just keep the place running day by day. You can see the hills from the roof if you go up there during sunset.
