Consortium Consumercare Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Pradeep Ku House No. 16/5, which is located in Block J-Ii-B of Gupta Colony. If you know Sangam Vihar, you know how busy and crowded it can get, and our little corner is no exception. The office is basically part of a residential block, so it feels very much like a part of the local community. We have boxes and samples stacked up in various corners, as we are always dealing with different consumer products that come and go. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have a new shipment arriving and everything needs to be sorted through. We don't have a big corporate lobby or any fancy receptionists. It is just us working at our desks, often with the sound of the ceiling fans clicking overhead. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floorboards creak a little in the back room. We get a lot of dust from the street, so cleaning is a never-ending job here. Most days are spent checking inventory and talking to suppliers on the phone. It is a very hands-on kind of environment where everyone pitches in to get things done. We usually have lunch together around a small table, sharing whatever we brought from home. It is a simple way of working, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening and we never run out of tasks.
