Computer Teacher

This place, Computer Teacher, is located in Village Chitaura. If you’re looking for us, we’re under the Meuli Bujurg post office area in the Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. It’s a quiet spot, far from the big city lights and all that noise. We started this because we noticed that around here, not everyone had the chance to sit down and learn how a computer actually works. We aren't a big school with hundreds of machines and a cafeteria. It’s just a simple setup where people from the village and nearby areas can come in for a few hours. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a while, which is just part of life in Fatehpur, so we have to plan our lessons around that. We teach the basics, like how to type or use a mouse, and how to get on the internet to find information. It’s rewarding to see someone realize they can send an email to their family or look something up for themselves. The road to Chitaura can be a bit bumpy depending on the season, especially when it rains a lot and things get muddy, but we’re almost always here. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing budget. Most people just know us because they live nearby or their cousin told them we could help. It’s just a small room with a few screens, and we spend our days showing folks the ropes. It’s slow work but it feels right for where we are in the village.
