Computer Operator

This is Rajendra Prasad’s small setup, and it’s located within B. C. Tiwari’s place at K-68 in the Rajak Ram Colony. We are right there in Mahipalpur, which is quite close to the airport. You can hear the planes taking off and landing pretty clearly from here throughout the day. It’s mostly just a desk with a computer and some basic office supplies like pens and staplers. I spend the day doing data entry, typing up documents, and whatever else needs to be done on the screen for people. The room is part of a larger house, so it’s a very informal environment. People from the colony often walk past the window and sometimes they stop to chat. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction work that always seems to be happening on the next street over. I’ve got my own way of organizing things, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else who might walk in. There’s no big staff or fancy equipment here. Just the basics to get the typing and operating work finished on time. The lighting is a bit dim in the afternoons, so I have a small lamp on the desk to help me see. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focusing on the monitor and the keyboard. Most people who come by are local residents who need something simple printed or scanned. It’s a practical space and it serves its purpose for the work I do every day. No big claims, just regular computer work.
