Commerical Automobiles has been tucked away at Kashmere Gate for quite a while now. If you know the Chabi Ganj area, you know how busy it gets with all the spare parts shops and the constant noise of rickshaws and trucks moving through 767/24. It’s just how things are around here. We spend most of our mornings opening up the shutters and seeing who comes by needing something specific for their vehicle. Kashmere Gate is the kind of place where you either know where you’re going or you get lost in the lanes pretty fast. Our spot at 767/24 isn't huge, but it's packed with what we need to get through the day. Sometimes the tea stall guy next door brings over a few cups while we’re sorting through inventory. It’s a lot of manual work, checking boxes and making sure everything is where it should be. We don't really do the fancy office thing because that's not what Chabi Ganj is about. It’s more about getting the job done and talking to the regulars who have been coming to this part of Delhi for decades. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the actual work to worry about how the shop looks to people passing by. It’s just us here, doing the daily routine at Kashmere Gate and keeping things moving.
