Comfort Travels

You’ll find Comfort Travels at number 200 in the Main Market of Mayur Vihar Phase I. It’s right in the thick of things where all the shops are. Because of that, it’s always busy outside our door. Inside, we just have a few desks and a bench for people to wait. We do a lot of ticketing and tour planning for families in the area. Some days we are just printing out papers and stapling things together. It’s not very exciting work, but it’s what we do. People come in with their budgets and we try to see what fits. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We don't have any flashy brochures or a big sales team. It’s just us. We talk to the people who walk in, listen to what they need, and try to find a solution. Sometimes we can’t find exactly what they want, so we just tell them that. We think it’s better to be straightforward. The office gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, so we’re always wiping down the desks. It’s just a small shop trying to help people get their travel plans sorted. Most evenings we close up around eight and head home ourselves, once the last of the paperwork is done.
