Club Mahindra

Up on the second floor of J-33 in Pandav Nagar, that is where you will find us at Club Mahindra. This part of Delhi is always crowded, especially near the metro and the main market areas. The office itself is not very big, and we have desks pushed up against the walls to make more space for everyone. It gets quite noisy during the day with the fans whirring and people talking on their phones about various things. We spend most of our hours looking at computer screens and talking to folks about their holiday plans or membership details. Sometimes the printer jams and someone has to spend twenty minutes fixing it while everyone else waits for their paperwork to come out. There are usually a few half-empty chai cups sitting around by the afternoon. The stairs coming up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We have been in this spot for a bit now, and we know the other shop owners downstairs pretty well. It isn’t the kind of place with a fancy waiting room or anything like that. We just have some chairs and a lot of folders stacked up on the metal shelves. Most of the work is just typing in names and checking dates on the system. It can get a bit stuffy when the power goes out, but we just open the windows and keep going until the day is done.
