Club Lagoon (Ambience Groups)

We run Club Lagoon from Flat No.14 at 86/9 in Kishangarh. Since it’s a residential flat in New Delhi, it feels more like a home than a stiff corporate office. We’re part of the Ambience Groups, and this is where we handle all the management and planning. The building is tucked away, so you really have to look for the number if you’re visiting for the first time. Inside, there are desks squeezed into the rooms, and we usually have a lot of files and maps spread out across the tables. It gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how it is in a small space. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different people and trying to keep schedules on track. Kishangarh is a very active neighborhood, so there is always something happening outside the window, from vegetable vendors to local traffic. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a computer to say hello. The kitchen in the flat is where we spend most of our breaks, usually complaining about the heat or the latest project delay. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. We aren't interested in making everything look perfect for a brochure. We just want to make sure the work is actually getting done correctly. It’s a practical way to run things, and it has served us well so far in this location.
