Club Canada, Canadian High Commission, New Delhi

This place is tucked away in Gautam Nagar, right behind that big Indian Oil building that everyone knows. It’s a bit of a maze back here sometimes, but we’ve been at D-161 for a good while. Being part of the Canadian High Commission setup means there’s usually something going on, but our little corner is pretty quiet compared to the main offices. New Delhi is a hot place, so we’re glad for the shade the buildings provide around here. The staff here just handles the day-to-day stuff. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big lobbies. It's mostly about keeping the files moving and making sure people get the help they need when they stop by. You might see us grabbing lunch at the local spots nearby since there are plenty of small eateries in Gautam Nagar. It feels like a neighborhood office more than a diplomatic hub. We’ve got a mix of people working here. Some have been around for a decade, others are newer. It’s a practical space. We don’t spend much time on decorations. The Indian Oil building is the best way to tell people where we are because otherwise, they might get lost in the side streets. It gets crowded during rush hour, so we usually try to get in early. Just a normal group of people working a normal job in a busy part of town and trying to stay organized.
