Clarks Group Of Hotels

Our office is located on the second floor of C-211 in Jhilmil Colony. This is over in Vivek Vihar, which is in the eastern part of Delhi. A lot of people know the Clarks name from big hotels they see in other cities, but this office is where a lot of the background work happens. It is a regular colony building, not a skyscraper. We have a few rooms filled with desks and computers. Looking out the window, you just see the houses and trees of Vivek Vihar. It is a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part. We have our routine every day, starting with the mail and then moving on to phone calls. The office can get a bit cluttered with all the files we have to keep track of. We are not into fancy corporate culture. We just dress casually and get on with what needs to be done. Sometimes we go downstairs for a snack at the local market. It is a bit of a commute for those of us living in other parts of Delhi, but we are used to the metro and the traffic by now. We do not have a big reception area or anything impressive. It is just a functional space where the team works together. We keep things simple and stay focused on the work at hand. There is always plenty to do and we just get through it together.
