Clark Greens, New Delhi

Clark Greens, New Delhi is based on the top floor of K-40 in Kalkaji. Being on the top floor means we have to walk up a lot of stairs every single day. It’s good for the legs, I guess, but it's not fun when you’re carrying a heavy box. Kalkaji is a really crowded part of New Delhi-19. There are markets everywhere and the smell of street food is always drifting up to our windows. It’s a lively place to be. Our office isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we need. We’ve got a view of the rooftops from up here, which is actually kind of nice when the sun goes down. The building is a bit old and the plumbing can be temperamental sometimes. We just deal with it. We aren't some high-tech startup with bean bags and a pool table. We just have desks and chairs and a lot of work to do. Most of us have been working together for a long time so we’re more like a family than just coworkers. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. We just rely on people knowing where we are. It’s a simple life here in Kalkaji. We show up, do the work, and then head back down those stairs at the end of the day. There is a small tea stall right outside the main gate that we visit too often.
