City Vacations (Uk Based Travel Company)

Our office is tucked away in G-69, Nauroji Nagar. It’s a travel company, but we mostly focus on the UK side of things, which means our hours can be a bit strange compared to the shops around us. When people in New Delhi are finishing their lunch, we are often just getting into the thick of the day's emails and calls. The space in Nauroji Nagar is small but we have made it work for us over the years. There are maps on the walls and stacks of brochures that sometimes get a bit dusty if we don't move them around. We spend a lot of time on the phone explaining travel rules or looking up dates for people who want to head overseas. It isn't always smooth sailing; sometimes there are delays with the systems or someone’s paperwork is missing a signature, and we have to spend the afternoon tracking things down. We don't use any big fancy slogans or anything like that. We just sit here, drink a lot of coffee, and try to get people where they need to go without too much of a headache. The street outside is usually full of people and cars, so the office feels like a quiet little corner where we can actually think. It is just a regular workplace with people who know a lot about travel routes and how to book a decent holiday.
