You can find Citifinancial India at Flat No C-10 in the Takshshila Apartments, which is on Plot No 57 in I.P Extension. Being in an apartment complex makes the office feel a lot less stiff than a regular office building. We have a small kitchen where someone is always making coffee. Most of our work involves numbers and financial papers. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and going through files. The area around I.P Extension is mostly residential, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the center of Delhi. We know the neighbors and the security guards at the gate quite well. Sometimes the parking gets really crowded, and we have to park a few blocks away and walk. The office itself is pretty simple with plain desks and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don’t have a big lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just looks up from our desk when someone walks in. The walls are a bit bare, maybe a single clock that ticks a little too loud. We handle people's accounts and loans, so we have to stay focused, but we still find time to joke around. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the blinds closed to block out the sun. It’s a decent place to spend the day, and we all get along well enough to make the hours pass by quickly.
