Citibank North America

Our office is at 77 Gautam Nagar here in New Delhi. Even though the name is Citibank North America, this specific spot feels very much like a part of the local neighborhood. It’s a busy street and there are always people walking past the entrance. Inside, we have our desks and computers where we handle all the banking stuff. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important. We spend our time looking at numbers and talking to customers about their accounts. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold and we have to wear sweaters even in the summer. Gautam Nagar is a good place to be, though the traffic can be a real headache in the evenings. We aren't a giant branch with hundreds of tellers; we are more of a back-office kind of setup. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have our daily tasks and we try to get through them without any errors. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we know each other's habits and how we like our tea. It’s a steady job in a busy part of the city. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything they don't need. We just keep the records straight and help out when someone has a problem with their money. It’s just a normal office where people work hard every day. We just keep things moving along.
