Citi Bank

Our branch is over in Janak Puri at Wz-10, Asalat-Pur A-2 Block. It’s a Citi Bank office, but it’s not one of those huge headquarters you see in the city center. This is a local branch where we deal with the everyday banking needs of people in the N.Delhi-110058 area. The office is pretty functional. We have the usual counters for cash and desks for opening accounts or discussing loans. It can get quite busy on Monday mornings, and we usually have a line of people waiting before we even open the doors. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. The walls are mostly covered with notices and calendars. The staff here is a small group of people who have worked in banking for years. We know the rules and we know how to fill out the forms, so we just focus on getting that done for the customers. Janak Puri is a lively place with lots of shops and houses around us. We are right in the middle of it all. We don't try to sound like a big corporate machine. We just provide a place for people to handle their money. Sometimes the computers are slow, or we have to wait for a manager to sign off on something, but that’s just how it goes. It is a bit cramped during the lunch rush, but we manage. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood, doing our jobs at this address every day.
